My fellow Harford County Democrats, we are asking for your help. Our Democracy is in jeopardy and Harford County needs to do our part to protect it. A small $5-$25 monthly donation will go a long way in our efforts to get and keep Democrats elected to office.  A large number of donors giving even a small amount each can make a huge difference for Democrats in Harford County:

• If 100 people donated $10/month we’d double our current revenue to $12,000/year

• If 350 people gave $10/month representing 0.5% of registered Democrats: $42,000/year

• If we had 700 donors (1%) giving the same: $84,000/year

• If we had 1,400 donors (2%) giving $10/month we would have a staggering $168,000/year

How would the Harford Democratic Party spend your hard-earned money? Here are some possibilities:

1. Support community outreach - Your donation will support a larger number of neighborhood events with the goal of attracting volunteers and registering voters.($300-400/event, $2,400 per year).

2. Increase our visibility - You could help us increase our level of participation at regular community events such as parades, fairs, and First Fridays where we encourage the public to VOTE! ($500-700/event, $3,000 per year).

3. Fund Local Democratic Candidates - You would help provide resources to every Democratic candidate in the 2026 general election (26 positions @ $500 each totalling $13,000).

4. County-wide outreach efforts - You could support text-banking and post-carding efforts aimed to recruit volunteers and encourage voting ahead of every election. ($3,500 for a basic texting service, two outreach campaigns).

5. Yearly mailer to registered Democrats - You could help us send a yearly mailer to every registered Democrat in Harford County summarizing the work Harford County Democrats are doing in our community. ($15,000 per year).

6. Democratic Party Office - You could help us rent permanent office space to accommodate party activities and meetings. ($25,000 per year).

7. Paid Organizer - You could help us hire a community organizer ($63,000 per year for full-time, less for part-time) to help us build our precinct organizing system.
