Redistricting committee applications
The beginning of a new decade means that it’s time to redistrict Harford County. The HCDCC is searching for Democrats to submit to the County Council for the redistricting committee. If you’re interested in getting involved, submit an application by Sunday, Jan. 10.
Male Committee member applications
The deadline is rapidly approaching to submit applications to fill our vacant male Committee member seat. Applicants need to email a resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “HCDCC Vacancy” by 11:59 pm on Sunday, Jan. 10. The male named to our Committee will help take the lead promoting nominees, recruiting candidates and organizing events. Learn more about the vacancy.
MD Dems Diversity Leadership Council applications
The Maryland Democratic Party has created several Diversity Leadership Councils to further augment an inclusive and supportive Democratic party across the state. They’re looking for candidates for the African American, LGBTQ and Seniors DLC chair positions. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, Jan. 8. You can also find more information and review the DLC’s Charter.
Opinion article in The Aegis
HCDCC Chair Carol Bruce recently penned an opinion piece in The Aegis about how the more than $400,000 the sheriff’s office used to purchase a second armored vehicle should be spent towards public and mental health, education, housing relief or economic development in Harford County. Check it out.
Our website has a brand new look! Check it out for yourself to see our new and improved online home.

We also upgraded our donation system. The HCDCC now uses ActBlue for our online donations. Visit our page and please make a donation while you’re there to help the Committee get off to a strong financial foot in the new year.
