Today is the big day: The You Can Run Virtual Program. Register for the free program now to connect with Democratic campaigns and learn how to run for office.
The You Can Run Virtual Program will be today, May 23 from 3-5 p.m. Attendees can register at bit.ly/YouCanRunHarCo.
The You Can Run Virtual Program is for anyone who wants to run or volunteer for a Democratic campaign. Elected Democrats and local candidates will speak about their experience running for office and other topics to help others get started.
Candidates and Democratic organizations will also have the opportunity to recruit volunteers at the event. Topics the speakers will cover include why citizens should run for local office, campaigning and doorknocking, what it’s like being an elected official, bridging the political divide and more.
