Open races still need candidates. Upcoming Events.
There are still several open races in Harford County for which no Democrat has filed. You can go to the State Board of Elections website to track recent filings. It is critical have a Democrat running in as many of those races as possible. The filing deadline is the 24th of February, a little more than a week away. Of particular importance and with particularly few leads to date are openings in the following races that are currently uncontested:
MD State Senate Districts 7 and 35
MD House Districts 7B and 35A
County Council President
Sheriff
States Attorney
County Council District D
If you’re interested in running in any open seat, or volunteering as a treasurer, please email the chair at chair@harforddemocrats.org as soon as possible. Let’s get these seats contested!

Citizen input is welcome, so show up and let the County Executive know what you think our County’s budget should reflect!
